Lots of lights on the dashboard and a subsequent test indicated that my car needed a new hybrid EV battery. My research was confusing—so many different stories and types of batteries and prices and time frames. I was scheduled to drive to CA in @ 1 1/2 weeks, and it seemed it could take 2 weeks or more to order a completely new battery. Then I found GreenTek, which claimed they could put in a new cell battery which they had in stock within a few days, and at the most reasonable price of all I’d received. So I decided to take a chance. Everyone I dealt with was pleasant and helpful and they had my new battery installed in less than 2 hours!! I waited until I’d driven safely for 2,000 miles before writing this review, and my car is still doing great! Thanks to the great staff at the Portland GreenTek!

I used Green Tec after searching for a more reasonable cost for the battery for my Prius. They won hands down! Plus their service was excellent too! I opted to have a mechanic come out to replace my battery which he did but he first checked to be sure that was the problem which I so appreciated since that battery was a very large expense regardless. He got the batteries switched and my Prius runs wonderfully! Even the back up camera shows up more clearly! They did an excellent job and if I need to use them again I certainly will! Very professional from start to finish! Thank you Green Tec!!

This place had a hard to see driveway but that was the only a difficult part of my battery replacement journey. When I got here at my appointed time the tech was super nice and helpful. I got my battery replaced for my 2008 Toyota Prius. They replaced that big battery in about 45 minutes and I was back on my way. I think that's a pretty awesome turnaround time. Plus I have a 4-year warranty. My car runs awesome now! I'd recommend them to anybody getting a battery replacement.

After purchasing a battery, I received an automated email asking about my service experience. Since the battery replacement, my speakers have been cutting in and out, so I reached out to ask whether this issue could be fixed. I never received a response. The lack of follow-up made me feel ignored and raised concerns about whether their one year battery warranty would actually be honored. While the service itself was quick, I likely wouldn’t rely on them again.
