.Gus and his crew did a great job bringing the original 50's floor back to life after being covered with hideous carpet and one million staples. The proof is in my photos it's a night and day difference & I can't wait to be able to host our family and friends now. From the day I called Gus he seemed very kind and easy to work with. He gave me a ball park estimate so I could talk it over with my bf then I called him back to come out and measure and check out damaged areas. The pricing for the floors and baseboards were in our budget so I didn't feel a need to get quotes from other companies. Thank you so much Gus for bringing our home back to life!

I initially gave Gus a 5-star review because the work was good and the pricing seemed reasonable. However, I had to revise my rating due to a frustrating experience. I requested financing, and Gus offered a "same as cash" credit card option. We agreed on the price and service upfront. But after the job was completed, he added a 3.6% credit card fee to the total, which he never disclosed beforehand. When I complained about the lack of transparency, he refused to reverse the fees. I even offered to issue a check or wire transfer if he’d refund the credit charge, but he declined, claiming the credit card company would still charge him fees. His response? "In the contract it states credit card fees apply." This felt a bit shady. Disappointing lack of integrity—buyer beware. Document the agreement and read the contract fine print. 3 stars b/c his workers did nice work. Initial review: Gus is a true professional! Honest and reliable.
