These guys are friendly, helpful and offer a very reasonable and professional service, from the receptionist to the mechanic. We use them for all our car needs. Highly recommended.

Booked car in for full service and MOT on 13/07/23. Very disappointed with the quality of the service. The day after the service was done, the tyre pressure warning came on. On checking the tyres, all four tyres were under inflated. I would have thought that this would have been checked as part of the full service. Additionally, the door hinges were not greased. The hinges are rusty. See photos. The coolant tank was below the minimum when the car was being serviced. I assumed this would be checked and topped up. No, this did not happen. On checking the engine oil level, it only showed it was topped up to 3/4 level. It now cast doubts if any of the other components are being changed as charged. Sadly, I introduced my daughter to the garage for her car repair. She is experiencing problems as well. Had to hear her car towed to another garage . Motormech used to have a great reputation and I understand that it is under new ownership. Hence, the very poor workmanship. No longer trust worthy. Would NOT recommend to anyone based on my experience.

Some negative impressions at first when I found the car had been booked in for MOT only when I had requested a service too. Anyway they sorted that out and did the whole lot in under 2 hours while I waited. They even checked and cleared a warning light that I already knew about (and knew the likely cause to be an intermittent sensor fault). Overall I was impressed. You don't get a fancy waiting room with coffee and biscuits but you're not paying inflated main dealer prices either. I will use them again and would recommend to others.
