The staff are friendly here. My massage was excellent with Joyce 10/10!! She was very skilled and had some great techniques. My mother in law did a facial which she enjoyed as well and felt glowy after! My rating is not higher because the facility is very old and in need of renovation. I have never been to a spa or massage that has carpet in the massage room. More commonly you need to wear spa slippers to maintain cleanliness at other spas. The carpet made me feel extremely stuffy. The sheets on the bed are old and need to be replaced. The condition of the location where the massages happen needs to be renovated. Sound proofing also needs to be done. Massages are done in the basement which is cramped and you hear people walking and talking above you. Secondly, they run promos on their Instagram that you cannot book online. You need to call in to book. I was extremely clear referring to the Instagram page and got my mother in law a promo gift. She only received the basic facial without the add ons. They did try to fix it by saying she can come in next time and add it however she only goes once every few YEARS. So it was very upsetting to know that the booking situation was not done correctly and not confirmed at the beginning of the appointment to catch the error THEY made. The esthetician came out and apologized for the mishap even though it wasn’t her fault it was a sweet gesture.

I had such a relaxing and refreshing facial with Kyla! She was so gentle and had great recommendations for masks and upkeep after. My skin felt instantly smoother and looked so glowy after. Can’t wait to book with her again!

Misleading sales practices and disappointing customer service. Visited for an one-off massage, was upsold to a 3-session pack. 5 months later I called to schedule the remaining sessions and I was advised that guests are required to use them over consecutive months and my sessions were no longer available. The staff suggested I escalate to head office, and didn’t even offer to support in reaching out.

This is a convenient location with friendly staff. There are a few issues however, that require addressing. The massage bed was concave (perhaps from overuse) so my back began to hurt halfway through. It was uncomfortable. Second, this spa does not provide 50 minutes of massage. They say it’s a “50 minute service.” By the time I was taken to the room and changed, the massage was only 40 minutes. It is my understanding that an hour is blocked for each service to accommodate change time, thus allowing for an accurately timed 50 minute massage. I was taken to the room at 11:31. The massage started at 11:39. It was over at 12:20 on the dot. I have never been to a massage that operates this way. It feels cheap, as though they are trying to get a quick turnover to squeeze in more appointments which makes me question how well rooms are sanitized between bookings. I don’t think I’ll return. I’d rather spend my money on a proper 50-60 minute massage with clean and comfortable rooms.
