Tragically, my mom passed away less than a year before I got engaged, leaving me clueless about budgeting, vendors, and the next steps in the wedding planning planning process. But Hannah had it all figured out. I had a clear vision for my special day—a traditional-style church wedding with a church reception, a concept that was becoming less common. Growing up with Hannah, she understood what I meant by a reception filled with “fellowship” and she pulled it off. Hannah helped me brainstorm every possible way to incorporate my late mother into the day, ensuring that we honored her memory in a meaningful way. On a day that could have been stressful, overwhelming, and exhausting, Hannah made sure that every detail was meticulously planned.
