I studied at SOCO from 2018 to 2022 as part of the “COVID group,” and I wouldn’t change a thing. Even with the challenges of the pandemic, the program stayed true to what matters: learning to understand and respect the body as a whole, and developing the hands-on skills to support it through manual osteopathy. Dr. Igor Norets is a rare kind of teacher. With a background as a neurologist, a Ph.D. in low back and pelvic pain, and decades of experience across Europe, you’d expect a bit of ego—but there’s none. He teaches with humility, clarity, and so much respect for the work. His knowledge runs deep, but he makes it accessible. No fluff, no flash—just grounded, thoughtful education that puts the focus exactly where it should be. SOCO gave me the tools, confidence, and deeper understanding I needed—not just to practice manual osteopathy, but to live it. I’m beyond grateful to have trained here, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a solid, heart-centered foundation in this work.

Tolstoy once wrote. “For nothing enriches the world more than kindness. It makes mysterious things clear, difficult things easy, and dull things cheerful.” This sums up my experience of getting a quality education from SOCO during the pandemic. I am grateful to all my teachers and the staff of SOCO for helping me succeed. Thank you Dr. Igor (PhD, European Doctor, Manual Osteopath), our head instructor, for holding our hands by gently guiding us and generously sharing your osteopathic knowledge with such compassion. Dr. Igor has shown only kindness to all his students during my time at SOCO. How can I give up when someone see his students potential and not giving up on us in our most challenging times. Thank you to Jessica, who taught me to listen with my hands and feel and let my hands guide me to understand the human body. She had taught me to follow each technique with intuitive hands to be better. And thank you Daniel for mentoring our group, you always keep us follow the rules strictly and be discipline to finish our thesis on time. Thank you dear Anna for helping resolve every issues we’ve encountered and all the admin staff of SOCO, Yvonne and Emily for being so kind and always have that thoughtful smile and helping me during the clinical shifts. Will I recommend this school? Yes, I definitely would. Not only for being in a supportive environment, I got an excellent manual osteopathic training at SOCO.

I have finished lots of schools in my life but this one was the best. I always felt like I am in the right place, no judgment, no stupid questions. This college and it's all staff are concentrated on the best education and practice skills you can achieve through helping you with this process. Even when the schooling time is over you can always reach out and seek help and advice. Thanks to all teachers to push my limits further and see my potential. Thanks to admin staff for helping with all difficulties during the hard times we went through, without you this school would not be that perfect. I would not be the same practitioner without you all <3
