Purchased a suit back in June for a destination wedding I was attending in September. I was informed of Harry Rosen’s complimentary tailoring but was advised by the salesperson that it would be best to return a few weeks before the date of the wedding as fluctuations to my weight may impact fit; a very reasonable and sensible recommendation, or so I thought. Fast forward to very early September when I reached out to the sales advisor for complimentary tailoring assistance, the sales advisor hardly remembered me and stated that Harry Rosen’s policy for complimentary tailoring had since changed and that there would be a charge (mind you I was never informed about this change in policy before it took effect). Additionally, I was advised there may not be enough time to have the alterations done. As I felt this sudden change in policy was a bit unreasonable, and to no fault of my own, I requested if as a goodwill gesture an exception could be made and the previous policy of complimentary tailoring be grandfathered in. My iMessage was left with a read receipt and my request ignored. I was left frantically arranging alterations using my own tailor. Thank goodness for her who completed all adjustments, no questions asked. I highly recommend making your suit purchases elsewhere, perhaps Suit Supply or Hugo Boss.

I just wanted to share how amazing my experience was with Maral at Harry Rosen in Pacific Centre. This was actually my first time shopping there. I was just hoping to find some casuals and she made the whole experience so comfortable and easy. She was incredibly welcoming and just had this great energy that put me at ease right away. What really stood out was how quickly she understood my style. It honestly felt like she knew what I was looking for before I even figured it out myself. She has an incredible eye for fit and detail, and really knows her stuff. Her advice was super helpful and on point. But what really blew me away was her approach to styling. It wasn’t just about picking out clothes. I never looked at styling and fashion that way before. It was like a personalized session.
