I bought my first 2 years ago from the shop and just returned to find out they are in the square now. Great! Folks, really enjoyed chatting with them and bought another hat! Hooray for Canada! And they are open on Sunday despite what Google maps says!

Great selection and very friendly, welcoming staff. Thankful that an old school hat store still exists. They have a lot of great hats to choose from, lots of sizes, you wont leave empty handed! Check it out!

What a gem to find this dedicated beautiful hat store. I purchased 2 hats which I love, the owner Susie also was a gem with her sweet friendliness & knowledgeable help. Susie thank you for your great tips on reviving an older hat that I own..you were amazing...I will enjoy returning to your wonderful well stock hat stock....Elaine McInnes Prince George BC

I’ve been looking for a couple of hats and have purchased some online in the last couple of years. I don’t think I’ll ever buy another hat online. A hat has to be tried on and needs to be able to sit perfectly and you only get that experience by visiting a Milner, and trying a hat on in the store. I’ve been in a number of stores in the last two years, at least and have not found the one that I was looking for. Until today when I visited Hats on the Square. The owner was very helpful and you need that kind of support to help you . Not in the purchase decision, but finding hats that fit. One of the things I do like is being able to look inside a hat, brim and finding the size as opposed to a small medium or large. It seems you can never find the hat to fit. Normally, I’m a 7 1/4 but today With the hat that I purchased I’m a 7 1/8. This is a Canadian made hat by Magill since 1895. The owner at the store was very helpful.

Hats on the Square is a hat shop.
