John SoonesIf you’re visiting Beckenham Crematorium, this is a good place to wait if you’re early. We planned to have breakfast there and it was surprisingly good. Expect to see other diners there wearing dark coloured clothes. It’s a 3 minute walk to the gates and there is on-street parking nearby.

Lauren WilliamsThis place if your a regular usually gives you a warm welcome. I have often seen all staff take a particular interest in making parents and children comfortable. I am usually greeted with a smile and some memory of what I and my partner usually order. The cafe has that feel of a community cafe with its regulars and inside feels warm and inviting. I think even for a new customer the cafe would still be fairly inviting. My favourite thing at this cafe is the fried breakfast, its is a decent size for the price and its one of the best full breakfasts I have had locally and I have tried a few at different price points. This is a typical English breakfast menu but there are no hard beans or really greasy food and the bread used is crunchy and fluffy. I have also enjoyed a bacon sandwich here. We have also tried poached eggs on toast, just toast, milkshakes and avocado on toast and all were great apart from the avocado on toast. The avocado on toast was a little hard and lacking in flavour but that is probably a seasonal thing. I have rated four stars on the food because although the food is good and well presented it isnt exceptional. The inside of the cafe is exceptionally well maintained and spotless no matter the weather. The decor inside is well maintained and the feel of the cafe is neat and of good quality for the price point of the food. It is very clearly a well loved business and it is always at least half full when we visit so it seems popular too.
