I have never felt more truly heard and cared for than I did at Healing Paws Animal Hospital. From the moment I brought my kitty in, every single person, from the receptionist to the nurse to Dr. Carrie, was kind, compassionate, and attentive. My kitty was never treated like just a number. They kept her for several hours to run thorough tests, and Dr. Carrie personally called me to explain every detail and possible outcome with such patience and clarity. They didn’t just send us on our way, they followed up with phone calls to check on her and scheduled a two-week recheck to be sure she’s improving. Their pricing was completely transparent and, honestly, much lower than anywhere else I’ve been. I left feeling so supported, cared for, and grateful. I can’t thank them enough!

The vets and vet assistants are very respectful to my whole family. They got me and my family threw a very hard time. This is a great place. Very clean as well. Worth the time and prices. Even while the vet was pregnant she was amazing and kept pushing through for her patience.

I've been going here for just over a year now. I had recently moved to the area and finding a vet was on my to do list, but my cat ended up getting ill over the weekend before I was able to do so. He was cleared of life threatening illness at the animal hospital but I was told I needed to get into see a regular vet immediately. Healing Paws was one of the vets the animal hospital recommended, and they were able to get me in as a new patient that Monday, the same day I called. Since Dr Carrie runs the practice herself they're sometimes closed when she goes on vacation. The first time I actually came she was away and they had a visiting vet in who saw my cat. They are more expensive compared to other vets I've gone to previously, but it's worth it. Dr. Carrie has been great with both my cats. You can tell she really cares and is willing to take the time to address any of my concerns. She is very good at explaining any medical treatments she wants to do and why she feels they are necessary. What I appreciate about her the most is that she takes a behavioral approach to issues and takes the time to explain how I as an owner can help my cats and help solve their problems by adjusting things at home. One of my cats is overweight and previous vets have told me to get her weight down, but never gave me any real advice on how to do so, even when I said I was struggling with figuring out her portion control and feeding with having two cats. Dr. Carrie took the time to figure out what food I should be feeding my cats, helped me figure out portion amounts and a feeding schedule that works with my cats wants and my abnormal work schedule, and gave me concrete advice on what I should be doing to feed them and how I can keep them from eating each other's food and fighting each other for food. She also has helped me manage my other cats severe anxiety that he has had his entire life, mostly with medication but with some behavioral and diet changes. My cats are not biological siblings but have grown up together and they are bonded and like to be together without interacting more than occasionally grooming each other. They used to fight and "bicker" multiple times a day for all the years I had them, much like human siblings. Since I've been going to Dr. Carrie it is rare that they fight with each other and both of them have been much happier. All the staff I have interacted with have been great too, from the front desk to the techs. They're always cheerful, helpful, and patient with my cats. If I have a concern they're quick to get back to me, either by phone or email. When I'm in the office for a visit the techs have offered and helped me carry my cats out to my car. I definitely trust my pets here.

We love this Vet office ♥️ They’ve cared for 2 of our dogs and our cat. The staff is exceptional and everyone is so caring. Both of our dogs had procedures here, which required general anesthesia. Dr. Carrie is very thorough in her pre-assessments and aftercare. She genuinely cares about your pets. We chose a less aggressive approach for one of our dogs, and she was non-judgmental and supportive of our decision. As pet owners, we all know that vet care can be expensive. We compared quotes from Healing Paws with other local vet offices, and the prices were very similar. There are several vets in closer proximity to us, but we still choose Healing Paws. Your furry loved ones are in great hands with Dr. Carrie and her staff.
