Dr. Jimmy Vo is a young and talented endocrinologist. It is interesting talking to someone so early in his career, because it feels like a peer. That said, he graduated from the most competitive fellowship in the country (according to my research) and he does not cut corners. He is funny while being rigorously professional. I feel I am in good care, and hope he derives satisfaction from his years of training by all the people he helps.

I found Dr. Dodell to be very well informed, empathic, helpful, practical Also, he patiently answered all of my many questions. He is clearly a knowledgeable physician with a natural, warm bedside manner and a gift for explaining things to a non-specialist. Also he is old enough to have had a good deal of experience and young enough to be energetic and on top of the details of my case. Katherine (a prior reviewer) had a bad experience, but it sounds like she never actually saw Dr. Dodell and was unhappy that he couldn't see her as soon as she wants. No doubt this is because he is understandably popular. I am going to recommend him to anyone looking for an endocrinologist, secure in the knowledge that they will thank me for the tip.

Dr. Dodell is the best endocrinologist I have ever seen. His approach is to look at the whole picture taking into account one's lifestyle, eating habits, other health issues as well as blood tests. He's compassionate, patient and very thorough in his exams. He really listens and is present with you. How he has handled my care has changed my life exponentially and I am forever grateful.
