I recently had the pleasure to work with Heartland Siding and Roofing, and I could not be more impressed with the quality of their service and professionalism. The craftsmanship was outstanding—our home’s exterior looks better than ever. The crew arrived on time each day, worked efficiently, and maintained a clean, organized job site throughout the process. It was clear that they take great pride in their work and stand behind the quality of their materials and installation. Heartland Siding and Roofing exceeded our expectations in every way. We highly recommend Heartland. Be it our garage roof, sidding or home's 2 level of gutters, every contractor showed great respect for our property. They all took pride in producing quality work. Outstanding! Not a fly by night company. They listened and made sure we were happy and all went above and beyond to produce quality craftsmanship. The billing office answered all our questions and made us feel very comfortable with the process. Huge weight of our shoulders as they dealt with the insurance company and paperwork. I'd give them 10 stars if possible! No regrets! Very trustworthy and honest!!

Updating my review from 2 stars to a 5 star review. Adam came out and looked at our home. He took time to talk with me, hear my concerns face to face and apologized for our experience. He also set up a game plan to get some of the things fixed (some of it we had just done ourselves.) They sent a crew out to fix items on the windows that led to our first review. I did appreciate how he reached out to make things right and followed up after the work had been done. Update as of 07/23/25- I was reached out to by Adam and we have set up an appointment to meet and look over the project. Will update after that. I was debating on posting our experience as I know reviews can sometimes hurt or help a company. But if you are like us needing (or are considering) new windows and you are trying to do some research I hope this helps. Our experience was not as great as I had hoped. We signed the contract on May 31st 2024. I was promised it would be done by August 10th 2024. Our project majority was finished October 2024. And officially completed April of 2025..we had 9 windows installed, gutters and downspouts replaced and our exterior window and door trim done. Every window has damage on the inside or the outside from install. The exterior window trim they first removed and then informed us that because we aren't doing siding it is going to rot out our supports and we'll have to replace everything in a couple of years. The trim was also "too complicated" so they had to use a special team which left the wood exposed for weeks in Iowa summer weather with rain until they could come back. Which compared to what we had before it doesn't look as great and has spots that could use correction. Our gutters were done quickly and for the most part are okay. We had nails and glass pieces under every window. They did not apply spray foam on the interior and some spots and not enough on other windows around the edges so there was a draft until we fixed it. We also had rain water come through one of the windows so we will have to repair that. They also left trailers here for weeks on end taking up space in my driveway. I will say they had good customer service when our project kept getting messed up, and some things were out of their control like ordering the panes when they broke. They also installed a support beam and fixed our drywall when they broke it putting the window in. Heartland contracted out their window install for us with Panes Windows out of Des Moines. I hope that maybe ours was a rare case but it still doesn't feel great to save up money to pay for new windows on your family home to feel like the job wasn't done with the care and quality you were sold on and expected.
