Called in as a prospecting client after rave recommendations from my psychiatrist, had my call declined, and then got a text 45 minutes later telling me she’s no longer accepting new clients in a very stark and cold manner. This was very hard to hear as someone who has had exclusively horrible experiences with therapy in the past, and recently came around to the idea of therapy again. I don’t know if it was Cynthia herself who text me or an assistant of some sort, but if this is how prospecting clients are treated I feel a great amount of empathy towards her paying clients.
