Customer experiences
James is truly the best instructor period. I have done private classes with him for the last couple years and have grown tremendously. Private classes are worth it in the sense of fast tracking your skill set with one on one teaching from a master.
James is that unique individual who has both the skill to teach, but also the love of teaching as well. What an amazing facility and staff, I highly recommend this to any and all that would benifit from his decades of skill and experiences.
Love this place. Always work up a great sweat! Whether you're training for a marathon or just wanna keep the same pants size, this gym can help. The membership I have gives me access to Cardio Kickboxing and Core Conditioning classes that happen 9 times per week Monday-Saturday both in the morning and the evenings. Zoom is an option as well. I like doing the Saturday morning classes virtually if I am visiting out of town. The classes are small and the trainers have really creative ways to get everyone pumped about being active. Lots of fun stretching, cardio and strength activities. Classes are about 45 minutes. It's so fun and fast paced but with breaks. I have been trying to work out in my basement for years and in regular gyms, but it has never been this fun. The facilities consist of 3 training rooms. Lots of weights and other equipment. I personally love ropes. There are bathrooms and changerooms. The trainers are nice. They have lots of accommodations for people who have injuries or just are unable to do the moves. Most people in my classes are 20- 50 years old, although few are older or younger. Some people are super fit and can jump on top of a 4 foot tall block. Other people like me get winded after a few seconds of doing jumping jacks. Everyone is welcome. People are very friendly and know eachothers' names. Noone judges me for having a crickety back or noodle arms. There are fun events like fighting demonstrations with hot dogs available for sale and lots of additional courses like self defense. There are martial arts classes for children and adults. If you sign up your child for karate, while they have your class, you can do a work out with the adults. Couples come to the classes and work out together. Really feels like a community.
Great place to learn karate /Jiu Jitsu and/or just stay in shape with group workouts and cardio kickboxing. I recommend the corefit (fitness & kickboxing) program to anyone like me who wants to get into shape and also likes beating up a heavy bag a couple times a week. Both James and Rachael do a great job running the corefit workouts and they make them very accessible to anyone who hasn't done it before or hasn't in a while - I hadn't worked out in a couple years before coming here and I was able to get right back into it after a few classes.
