We found Hi-Lite Electric on Home Stars and decided to choose them because of their positive reviews and we liked that they are a family business. Our first call to them was to troubleshoot and resolve an issue where we lost power to two rooms in the house. Scheduling was easy, Angie was very friendly on the phone and helped to book an appointment for the next day. Stephen arrived on time and quickly determined the issue and fixed it at a reasonable rate. Angie and Stephen were clear and upfront about all costs. Because we were happy with our first experience, we brought up some other long term issues we were having and Stephen provided his advice on how they could be resolved and provided quotes for that and for upgrading our panel which we were interested in doing since ours was original from the 1970s. The quote process very easy - I liked getting everything in writing and being able to select which options we wanted and accept the quote online. Once Hydro booked in our date for the ESA permit, Hi-Lite scheduled our appointment. Everything went smoothly on the day with Luciano, Stephen, and Matthew completing the work. They were friendly, explained everything clearly, completed the work quickly (and cleanly), and our dog enjoyed the extra attention and scratches he received from them! We even had a nice surprise that replacing the panel naturally resolved two issues we were experiencing, so the final cost was lower than the estimated quote. We appreciated their honesty to adjust the final cost accordingly. Overall we were very happy with the service and experience with Hi-Lite and will continue to use them in the future.
