Just had breakfast at Hills Maple Leaf Restaurant and it’s everything you want in a classic Canadian diner. The staff were really friendly and made me feel right at home. Big portions, lots of all day breakfast specials, and everything has that homemade comfort food vibe. Prices are super reasonable too although the historic menu on the wall reminds you what you used to pay, gimme 2 butter tarts for 25c please.

Well, what a little treasure this place is. I made my first visit to Hill’s Maple Leaf, a restaurant that has been in business since 1926, and it did not disappoint. I stopped in on a Saturday morning and the place was buzzing — I managed to grab the last table. Given how busy it was, I expected the service might be slow, but not at all. The operation is quick, efficient, and impressively well run. As a first-time visitor, I was made to feel like a regular right away. The staff were genuinely friendly, and the portions were both generous and delicious. My only suggestion would be to offer real maple syrup rather than syrup substitute. In a place with this much history, it feels almost unpatriotic not to have the real thing. That said, Hill’s Maple Leaf was exactly what I was looking for, and I will absolutely be back.

Got to try the breakfast special ! I’ll say it’s worth the prices , service was super quick portion is good. I’m a pancake person and got a chance to try one out and I’ll say it was perfect!

Has been my fav go to breakfast forever, even back to the original location when I was a kid, food is always great and service never waivers, looking forward to my next visit ❤️
