Only place I've found so far in the CBD that does $30 for basic mens haircut. Haircuts can be great or bad as they cut quite fast since it's cheap. Half the price compared to the barber next door too. Recommended!

I have cut my hair in different cities paying exorbitant prices but this sweet gem if a lady from Vietnam… looked at my already washed hair & said u have heavy hair & I will give you the best that suits you . Loved her energy, her cutting style, & quick service. Above all only 30AUD…. Will definitely come again if I come next time to see the Australian Open.

I just went to this hairdresser and was told my haircut would cost $25. I pointed out that the multiple signs outside said " Men Hair Cut, Best Fade, Ladies Hair Cut, Children Hair Cut from $15". When I queried this I was told that was for a men's beard trim, buzz-cut or basic cut. No mention of a beard trim for$15 on any of the big signs. I asked if mine was a basic cut and was told yes. I paid the $25 then when I was leaving noticed the signs didn't mention this. When I questioned it with the older woman (who I spoke to first) started yelling at me telling me the price changed today, then walked away after I mentioned she should get rid of all the signs that contradict what she'd said. I was standing outside of the doorway when I spoke to the gentleman, and she was yelling at me in the background. I didn't raise my voice but spoke calmly to the man. I left then went back to finish the conversation that he walked away from in mid sentence. The woman in the background kept yelling about having to pay her staff. She made more of a song and dance about it than was necessary to gaslight the situation in front of the customers she had. I've used these people twice, and while I was happy with the haircut, this is twice this woman has been rude. The first time it was because I was telling her what haircut I wanted (she told me she knew what she was doing and what was right for me - she was rude, not informative - I almost got up and left, but thought it's only a haircut). I thought I'd give them a second go, but never again and I'll make sure I'll tell others. She's obviously the owner, by her comment. You think she would know better. P.S. After writing my review, I went and read others. Looks like this lady has a real problem. I also saw one guy had nearly an identical experience to my first one. Her staff should convince her to retire before she destroys their credibility and the business. The rest of the staff (except for the guy that greeted me - probably her son) are lovely.

I have been coming here for a very long time now, years in fact. While it’s a walk in no appointment service I’ve rarely had to wait longer than 10 minutes. I’ve seen a few casual staff come and go which have been hit and miss but the more perminant ladies and the owner always do a great job. Will be coming here for many more years.
