My neighborhood is fully in construction with barely a dozen houses finished out of hundreds expected. There’s trash everywhere, construction material, large commercial dumpsters, etc yet they continually harass me about a trashcan. They asked us to move it from street view (it was neatly on the side of my house on a stone placeholder we built for it) so we moved it to our backyard to comply. Now they’ve started construction on a new road to the right to my home and sent me another notice about my trashcan because they say it’s now in street view again. I have nowhere to put my trashcan while we build an enclosure for it (which must be mobile or I have to submit the plans to them which takes even longer). I think it’s fairly ridiculous to not be able to have a trashcan in my own backyard while I build an enclosure and the entire neighborhood is under construction and a mess. Not to mention the over $700 a year we pay them just to be harassed and charged further. **edit to add since I can not reply to their comment- I did call your office. Your receptionist was beyond unprofessional and rude. When I told her I would not continue to be spoked to that way simply for calling to understand why I was receiving an email, and that I would like to speak to a manager. She then proceeded to hang up on me. I called back 6 times, each call was ignored. Then called from my work phone at the same time and the same receptionist answered and immediately placed me on hold for 5 minutes. Once I hung up and called back AGAIN, I was finally able to leave a message for the manager. The manager then emailed, told me my experience was wrong pretty much. My gathering from her emails was basically I was wrong and the receptionist did not do any of that. (even with the photographs provided to them as well). They denied she hung up in my face, said she was just suddenly super busy with calls and that’s why she ignored my 6 calls, but some how got free at the same time when I called from my work phone…They did not apologize for anything, did not acknowledge my experience basically at all and then proceeded to continue to email me after I asked them to stop because the conversation was not going anywhere. Let’s also add that it was my birthday, and I’m currently in the middle of a high risk pregnancy and did not want to add the stress of this back and forth to myself.. thank you though. Hopefully we can find a new company to work with soon. ** yet again, being completely dishonest. Accusing the customer of lying and not owning anything that actually happened. I don’t know about you all, but seeing as I was at work… how could I be screaming at this woman? She actually repeatedly cut me off, spoke down to me and spoke over me. I VERY CALMLY stated that I was not going continue to be spoked to this way for simply calling asking a question and she hung up on me. Mind you when they did answer the work call, I was calling on my cellphone at the same time. She declined my cellphone for the 6th time knowing it was me and then answered the work call. Again, never screamed, raised my voice or anything of the sorts. They will never apologize, recognize any wrong doing or try to correct their actions. Easily seen in their snarky replies to each negative review and VERY apparent if you ever call with any sort of issue.
These people are disgusting. They are collecting management fees. However, when you call them about an issue. They tell you talk to the residents that's not our job. 4/08/2025 Dog feces in my yard and these are their responses. "Good afternoon, I understand your frustration; however, the HOA cannot monitor whose pets are pooping within the community. I recommend speaking with the residents if/when you see it happen." "The HOA does not have a Homeland representative in the community from daylight to dark each day of the week to monitor items occurring all day long. We visit the neighborhood about once per week. There are some things that are a neighbor to neighbor discussion that our representatives do not handle on behalf of owners." 11/12/2025 It is fall 11/12/2025, leaves are blowing everywhere with a frost that killed the leaves on most plants. They send me a violation about pinestraw in the fall with winter 39 days away. They tell me to remove the weeds. The weeds are actually crape myrtles in which all the leaves died from the frost on 11/10/2025. They aren't smart enough to know that what they thought were weeds are actually crape myrtles. They tell me to replenish the planting beds with plants. Yet, their was a recent frost. Who plants in flowerbeds when there was a recent frost. This is their response. "Remove weeds; Replenish/mulch or pinestraw - Please replenish flowerbeds. Thanks!" These people are the epitome of horrific and it is obvious no one on staff has a college degree. Geez we got these people as a management company in 2020. Dang.
The receptionist was very sweet. She was patient and explained everything to me. She helped me understand my dues and how to pay them. I really like Homeland’s services.
Still waiting on an ACR request that was submitted on Nov 11th. In the past with a different management company request were returned within 24hrs. I guess the residents don't matter with Homeland. I know there is a 60 day period but I requested a porch extension. If this is what we have to look forward to with this new company lord help us.
