It was truly a great decision to go with HomeLane for my home renovation. The design work by Purnima was excellent — she perfectly understood my vision and guided me through every step with creativity and patience. A big thanks to Aurobindo, the project manager, for his flawless coordination and attention to detail that ensured everything progressed smoothly. I really appreciate the team’s professionalism and support throughout. I just hope the material and final product turn out as good as the experience so far!

The worst experience I faced with this company. I opted kitchen setup and found many problems after 2 months of use. They told 10 year warranty and replacement for any damage caused. Because they are providing high quality water proof material. Now after 2 months of use sink area cabinet door are bulged. Now the customer care has showing me contract that our material can not withstand in moisture area or wet area. And we don't cover that damage. How fraud and vaugus communications from your local team that your esteemed organisation is providing high quality material, 10 year long warranty, peace of mind for after service. But after only 2 months of use I found all your commitment are baseless and false. Also the material is way low in quality below local standard which even not stand at least a use of 2 months. And your customers service is saying we do not provide warranty. So what is the use opting Homelane. Why Do I opt your product For buying tension Way low quality product False commitment during sales No proper guidance No after sale service On the time of issue your service team come with legal agreement and show us the mirror by saying don't you read the clauses before signing. Your highly unhappy Customer

TLDR: Go with them if you've no time constraint for completion, can read their T&Cs properly, can spend about 1.5x extra money just for brand name, have plain walls with no protruding pillar and kitchen with only walls (not even countertop) for easy designing, otherwise avoid them and go with a local interior firm for design flexibility and peace of mind. Good things first: The designer, Aneesha Nag, put considerable effort into creating the best possible designs as per requirements. She consistently followed up during the design phase and demonstrated true professionalism. Now the shortcomings: - Discount Policy Not Clearly Communicated by Sales During the initial discussions, we were only informed that a minimum woodwork value of ₹1.5 lakh was required to avail the discount. However, it was not disclosed that the discount amount would be reduced proportionally if the scope of work decreased. This critical detail should have been communicated upfront. (Note: The upfront discount is for board material only and not on total price. Thus, this excludes handles, hinges, ceiling and lightning and consultation fee. This was kind of conveyed) - Limitations of the HomeLane design software Their design tool is good for visualization but has lots of constraints and if you've worked with any local interior shop earlier, this becomes frustrating. - Timeline Clarity Missing Despite being told that materials would be dispatched immediately after the final payment, the actual delivery took 10–12 business days. Given that the manufacturing unit was in Kolkata, and parts were supposedly 'ready' before the final payment, hence this delay seems unjustified. Additionally, the advertised 45-day timeline referred to business days and would begin after the materials reaches the site. - Limited Hardware Design Options The selection of handle designs was extremely limited, you can easily find more options even in a small local hardware shop. - Employment of Minors We observed a child working (aged about 10-12) alone on electrical tasks at the site. This is highly concerning, both from safety and ethical standpoints, and is completely unacceptable. - Lack of Supervision by Project Manager At no point during the project did a project manager visit the site to supervise or check progress. Only laborers were present, leading to lack of accountability. When pointed out later, he claimed he visited site once, about which we were unaware at that point of time. - Incomplete Ceiling Work (if opting without Paint Option) (Photos 1, 2, 3) We were NOT informed that skipping paint job for the ceiling would leave us with visible holes in carcass board after 'completion'. We later had to hire a local contractor for putty and paint to complete the look - Loft Issues (See photos 4,5). They lofts are uneven for keeping boxes and the gap in between doors make it susceptible to lizards/insects to enter easily. - We've not even started using the installation properly and can see minor misalignments and a push lock not working and a slightly bent cupboard door, so little doubtful about their 10 year warranty claim. - Kitchen Hardware Warranty Limitations Kitchen hardware accessories from brands like Hettich and Spitze come with no warranty against rusting (as per their closure terms). - No Post-Completion Feedback Taken There was no formal completion handover. And there was no follow-up from the company to gather feedback regarding the work quality, overall process, or our satisfaction level. - After-Sales Service Only one complimentary service visit is provided within six months of handover. Any additional visits incur a charge of ₹750 per visit, which covers basic alignment work.

I had a wonderful experience with HomeLane. My home interior design journey was smooth and hassle-free, thanks to the dedicated efforts of everyone involved in the project. Param Mishra (Relationship Manager) offered a great deal, Aneesha Nag (Designer) provided thoughtful and practical design suggestions and Aurobinda Dixit (Project Manager) consistently went above and beyond with his support. Thank you all for your incredible support throughout the process! I highly recommend choosing HomeLane to bring your dream home to life. The only area I believe could be improved is expanding the range of options available in HomeLane’s "DECKO" segment, which currently feels a bit limited.
