We met Stephen a year ago when were thinking of selling our home as we always saw his signs and flyers in the neighborhood plus he had just sold our neighbor’s house last year. From the time we met him he’s been very accommodating in answering our questions and inquiries. When we finally decided to sell our current home this year after buying a new build home, we did not consider interviewing other agents as we felt that through our interactions with Stephen, he was the right agent to sell our home. Given the current real estate market conditions, he was very honest and realistic with us. He always kept us updated weekly through phone calls and emails regarding previous showings of the home etc. He is very professional and went above and beyond to sell our home. We took our home off the market for various reasons and despite this, he was still able to sell our home. He was able to negotiate a price that was in our favor. We were looking for someone to sell our home in Cornell and chose Stephen Truong's team after noticing lots of his signs in the neighbourhood. We wanted to sell our home to a family who would love the community of Cornell and all the incredible family oriented amenities of the area. We wanted someone who knew the neighbourhood and could sell the positive aspects of our home. We interviewed Stephen and really liked his approach to the sale. We agreed with his practical suggestions and he was very timely in getting us the quotes to make some improvements before putting the house up for sale. He provided us with his trades contacts, but also encouraged us to seek out our own to compare prices. As we no longer lived at the house that we were selling, Stephen personally made sure the repairs/improvements were completed to his satisfaction. We sold our home at a time when the housing market was tough. Despite an open house, many showings, and a price reduction, it still took several months to sell the house. Stephen and his dedicated team continued to persevere and we were finally able to find a buyer who loved our home and was willing to work with us. Our buyer initially had offered less than asking, but with Stephen's encouragement, we stuck with our list price and were able to sell our house at 100% of the newly listed price. Once the offer was accepted, Stephen's team sent us a detailed email on all the things that needed to be done before the house closed. This was very helpful as this can be a complicated/confusing process. It really helped to have this list to make sure we did everything we needed to do. Stephen and his team were always professional and timely in their communication. We appreciated their weekly update emails/phone calls to let us know what they have been actively doing to sell our house. We would definitely recommend Stephen Truong's team to anyone who is looking to sell or buy their house!
