I've had work done on several properties on the lower mainland and Vancouver Island. Ian did a bunch of major renovations on our cabin, and is the best contractor of almost any kind I've ever worked with. None of my past experiences have been nightmares, but I've never had a better experience than with Ian. We hired him to repair flood-damaged walls in our cabin's basement and to rebuild multiple large decks. While working on the basement he identified a pest problem. Rather than simply tell us about it (or ignore it), he proactively got a quote for pest control and took care of all the scheduling. Our decks were done quickly to high standard with regular updates. I wish there were more contractors in BC that worked to this level of professionalism.
