louise craigWhat a lovely surprise! We dined twice over the Easter long weekend whilst on the GC, and we weren't disappointed. Booked online super easy and upon arrival seated very quickly in the main bistro area. Great view of the beach and great to watch the world go by. Staff were very attentive, the food was delicious. We enjoyed the baked bread, lobster roll, fisherman's catch, grilled fish and garden salad! Yum!
Jess GFood was great, had seafood platter and pork ribs. The seafood was super fresh & great quality. Great view of the beach. Food came sizzling hot and well presented. Oysters was super fresh. So good. Bit exxy but worth it.
Laura TCame on my birthday (for lunch, so the bistro, not the restaurant)- sat right next to the view. Service and food were excellent! We were pleasantly surprised by how big the $8 starter bread was & the herby garlic butter it came with was great. We both really enjoyed our pasta dishes - ragu for husband and shellfish pasta for me. We can’t wait to come back.
Stella LimFood wasn't bad. Drinks were okay as well. But trying to book a huge table for 13 had been a pain. Emailed to organise it and asked for a birthday cake but they had none and wanted to charge over 200 for a cake so i have asked to arrange it with the pudding they had (this was formality only not for everyone to eat) they said not an issue. But on the day itself we had to organise it again directly with the waitress. Wrong drinks were given and had to ask for the right ones. No split bills allowed too but that's okay I guess but they didn't itemise the drinks correctly as well on the receipt which made it slightly harder for us. The waitresses were constantly rushing to clear the plates and glasses although we were not finished. They tried to clear my plates twice. It felt like im being rushed to finish up so the feeling wasn't pleasant. I would say the waitresses are overall good but the manager seemed really snobbish. Not sure if I'd be back again.
