This local diner definitely hits all the marks on taste, service, and atmosphere! The portions are perfect, everything is reasonably priced, the food is served pretty quickly, and the service is super quick friendly. There is plenty of seating available, from booth window seats, to group tables. Would recommend if you're in the area, and are in search of a local diner to enjoy breakfast/lunch at!

The menu had a lot of variety- from breakfasts, omellettes, Benedict’s, pancakes, French toasts, waffles, and a large variety of Lunch items. Owners are Greek and make a great gyro. I had to order the recommended apple cinammon pancakes with some eggs and potatoes. Food was excellent for all of us. Great and friendly staff. Even ordered some take home soup and jams.

Hot Stacks in Cookstown is one of the best restaurant in the area. I drive from York Region to have breakfast once a month because we have nothing like that in my vicinity. I recommend this place to have breakfast or lunch. Go early because they close at 3 pm. The service and the food is excellent and Family owned. Go for a nice drive and have breakfast or lunch if you are near the cookstown mall not far from highway 400 @ 89.
