Good morning. We are currently sitting in the lobby area because we were KICKED OUT OF OUR ROOM!! The room was what we expected. Decent for the price. We were happy with our stay until this morning. We left around 8:15 to go to a nearby coffee shop to get my wife some coffee. When we got back, our door was open and the cleaning staff was IN OUR ROOM!! I’m glad we had taken out most of our stuff, but they were just working around our stuff and throwing stuff on the counters away. We had not checked out. It was only about 9, when checkout was 11. I tried telling them that we hadn’t checked out yet, but they did not seem to speak English. After a few failed attempts, we just decided to grab our stuff. We are now just waiting for family in the lobby area since apparently OUR room is not OUR room anymore. I had planned to shower and finish getting ready, but I guess not. I’m not much of a complainer, but I decided to go explain the scenario to the front desk. They acted like they could give me a discount, but since my booking was through an outside vendor(like a lot are), they said they couldn’t. Overall, just disappointed in our stay.

Out of the way location with very minimal security to speak of. There was not even a person physically at the front desk when we arrived to check in, as they apparently have outsourced this job using a weird clerk terminal. Most annoyingly, though they list as "pet friendly" they apparently ONLY mean "dog friendly", as when we mentioned our cats (being that we're in the middle of moving), they refused my reservation citing that they only allow dogs in pet friendly rooms. Should definitely be more specific with your travel listing. Good luck to anyone attempting to stay here.

Room smelled bad! Cobwebs on walls (in corners and around PTAC), stains on carpet, crack in ceiling around shower and looks like someone tried to "fix" it by painting gray paint over the white ceiling. Sink had hair on it. Pillow cases were brown and pillows were terrible! Also seen that a washcloth had a brown stain on it. I paid about $160 which was way to much for this room! On check in we had to talk to a kiosk with someone at corporate. Not even a person behind the desk! Strange. Will no stay here again, and will make sure to let everyone that I know about this experience!

HORRIBLE! We left and went to a different hotel within 5 minutes of being there. Our first and second set of keys did not work to enter our room. Got (what we assumed) was a maid who let us into our room but did nothing to help us get working keys. THE SMELL of this place is aweful! I will admit that I didn’t not look at reviews before booking. We were in a hurry to get something and should have known better. What a waste of $80. Don’t go to a cheap hotel in Atlantic, IA. If you’re looking for something nice, go 15 minutes up the road to Atlantic Rock Island Inn and Suites!
