Just left today. Spent three nights there. We had the back section all to ourselves. There was hardly anyone there the three nights we were there. Everything was clean. Pool was clean and fairly warm. ||There is a little cute kitchen in the basement. ||I think when we left today, the cleaning lady only had two rooms to clean. ||I would say if you want a quiet night, ask for the back rooms. Some of the rooms are laid out different. ||I am hoping this place survives. We were here several years earlier. One of the reasons we asked for the back section. Especially good if you have a pet. Too noisy in the front.

The place is close to everything and it's a good deal and it's very clean. I'm thankful that they take being clean seriously. Has everything we needed. Open free parking. Uhaul is right here too. They have a grill in the backyard, a laundry room, a full kitchen for the community of motel residents. Many amenities for a motel and nicer than normal motel. I would return especially bc they made the room very clean which means the most.

Conveniently located off of the highway. Beautiful views nearby. A short drive to downtown Galena. Outdoor pool. Other guests were friendly. Pet-friendly! Easy to get a hold of staff on the phone. Staff were friendly and accommodating, in-person. Had a small issue with the television, and an employee came over quickly, to fix it. The main office opened early and stayed open late, which was convenient.

Pretty cool motel, well taken care of and super clean. It's next door to the distillery, so you can walk there. The mattresses were pretty worn out though and probably should be replaced.
