We stayed there one night in a Junior suite that looks out into the pool. The room was very nice, spacious and clean. It was kind of odd not having an exterior window but since we were only there 1 night, it was fine. The kids loved the easy access from our room to the pool! I was positively surprised by the pool, very large, lots of seating and a good size hot tub. It was clean and staff came to restock towels. The tile floor was also beautiful. There’s adult only swim from 10pm-11pm and staff did come right at 10pm to politely ask kids to leave. The hotel serves a great breakfast, nothing too fancy but definitely a step up from your standard included hotel breakfast. A big compliment to the staff in the breakfast room who greeted everyone, and were busy restocking everything and keeping things clean.

❌Absolutely Not Recommended❌ 😡 One of the Worst Hotel Experiences I've Had 😡 The room service was practically nonexistent — no proper cleaning was done at all. They simply dropped off towels and left, without addressing even the most basic cleaning needs. To make matters worse, the room itself was dirty and clearly neglected. There was visible dirt on the floor and corners, and even a spider crawling around — as shown in the photo. It made the space feel not just unclean, but downright unsettling. Staying in a room like that was more of a horror experience than a restful one. The lack of cleanliness, attention to detail, and basic guest care was shocking. This place doesn't deserve more than a 1-star rating — and even that feels generous. At best, it's a 2-star property pretending to be something more. I strongly advise others, especially families, to stay far away. Save your money, your time, and your peace of mind — there are far better options out there.

Overall decent stay here. Rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was pretty good. Didnt get time to check out the amenities. I unfortunately left my jewelry in the bathroom and the cleaners did not turn it in to the front desk, nor did their division call me back after leaving a message,so that was very disappointing. Rates were a little high if booking directly through them.

I recently stayed at the Hotel Renovo, which is a tapestry collection hotel in Des Moines, Iowa for a work trip. I spent a week there in one of their three loft suites, which is a living room/kitchenette/ half bath downstairs and a loft king bed and bath upstairs. I got an amazing rate on the room as I booked it about 8 months in advance of the trip. My first reaction arriving at the hotel was that it was nicely appointed and very clean. My room was gorgeous and had so much space. It felt like coming home to my own little apartment every night. The bed is probably the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in. It was like a cloud! The room service was quality and good prices. But more than the amenities, the staff is AMAZING. Huge shoutout to Josh at the bar and Sabrina at the front desk. After a day or two we were on a first name basis and every time they saw me they went out of their way to greet me by name and they asked me about my day. The manager, Luke, is also unbelievably kind and it shows that he cares about his staff. They remembered the little details. And that is true hospitality. If you’re ever in Des Moines, I HIGHLY recommend the Hotel Renovo.
