What a bunch of crooks. I purchased insurance for my 2025 vehicle and Lisa gave me a quote for a 2024 model because the VIN for my vehicle wasn't in the system and she didn't bother to tell me that. So she basically lied to me and when I got my bill it was 340$ more than what I was quoted because of it being a newer model. I canceled it and now almost 2 months later I get a bill for 247$. They are trying to charge me a cancelation fee and the month of insurance I had based on 1554$ a year instead of the 1215$ i agreed too. So basically Lisa makes a mistake and they expect me to pay for it. I wouldn't have canceled had she given me the proper quote for the proper vehicle. She refuses to take responsibility for her mistake and claims to have had no idea the quote was for a 2024 basically lying and selling me insurance for a vehicle that doesnt exist in their system. Update - Spoke with the manager Dawn and she says they did nothing wrong by not giving me the proper insurance for the right vehicle. Tells me I owe 247$ because insurance isn't the same amount per month and that it's always more the first few months despite the fact that it's literally the same every month it's gets taken out. Just more excuses. Anything to avoid taking responsibility! Update # 2 - After Lisa, Dawn and Tracy telling me they can't do anything I started an inquiry with Wawanesa. And surprise surprise they were able to get my bill reduced to 139$. So basically they just were too lazy to help me in the first place and had to be prompted by an investigation to actually do anything. Terrible service!
