Dear Tulip Hotel Apartments Management, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share my disappointment regarding the experience my family and I had during our recent stay at Tulip Hotel Apartments, Bur Dubai. We booked a 1 BHK apartment from 26th September to 5th October 2025 through MakeMyTrip (Goibibo-GH77033250763190) for a family vacation, but unfortunately, the experience fell far below our expectations due to several issues. This was our fourth stay at Tulip since 2023, and until now, we had only positive experiences thanks in large part to Ms. Cherry, who handled our previous bookings, and Mr. Niyas Baasha, the then-manager, who always ensured prompt and kind support. However, this stay was extremely disappointing. Here are the main concerns we faced: Personal TV Not Allowed Initially: I brought my own LED TV because the in-room TV is outdated. However, I was stopped at the reception and told I could not bring it in. Despite explaining that I had done this during previous stays and mentioning Mr. Niyas, the supervisor dismissed it and responded rudely, saying, “I don’t know about that, and currently we can’t allow it.” Only after prolonged discussion was I permitted to bring the TV into the room—late at night. Additionally, during check in, the manager asked me whether I had booked directly or through an agent. When I said it was via MakeMyTrip (Goibibo), his tone became more dismissive, as though customers who book through third-party platforms don’t deserve proper service. I was shocked. Shouldn't all guests be treated equally, regardless of how they book? When I mentioned how well Mr. Niyas Baasha used to handle these matters, he simply said, “Currently, I’m the in-charge,” and continued to be unhelpful and indifferent. Balcony Access Denied: I asked for the key to the balcony so my family, especially my wife and children, could get some fresh air. I was told I needed to pay AED 1,800 as a deposit and wait for management approval. Eventually, it was denied. It was frustrating to see that other guests had open access to their balconies while we were restricted. If there are rules, shouldn’t they apply to everyone equally? Bedroom Door Latch Missing: The bedroom door did not have a latch inside. With two small children opening the door often, this was extremely uncomfortable, especially while changing clothes. I requested a solution or at least a key, but it was also denied. Tourism Fee Confusion at Checkout: At check-in, I paid AED 80 as a tourism fee and AED 200 as a deposit. However, during checkout, the same receptionist asked me again to pay AED 80, which was extremely frustrating. I had to remind him that he himself had collected the amount, and I even asked him to check the CCTV footage for confirmation. Only then did he return my AED 200 deposit. We have always preferred Tulip for our family stays, but this time, it was a deeply disheartening experience. The attitude of the supervisor and reception staff showed a lack of basic customer service, empathy, and accountability. I hope the management seriously looks into these concerns and ensures that future guests are treated with fairness and respect regardless of how they book their stay. Regards, Vasanth

I had a really pleasant and comfortable stay at this hotel apartment. Everything was just perfect! The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained, and it even had a balcony with a nice view. All the amenities were available — fridge, washing machine, microwave, and everything you need for a homely stay. The environment was calm and peaceful, and the staff were polite and helpful throughout. There’s also ample parking space, which made everything super convenient. Overall, I absolutely loved my stay here and would definitely recommend this hotel apartment to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-equipped place to stay. 🌸
