Built a great closet with the help of Mila! Super easy to design at this location. Would definitely go back. They ordered all of it for me and I’m picking it up tomorrow in Burlington.

Ikea lies or certainly misleads. They claim the return system is simple but you can only return the "Stores". Apparently this store is not a "Store" . So I gotta go from Goderich to Burlington . Ikea , you have lost 1 customer for good today.

Could not be more pleased with the incredible experience we had with Geetika at the Kitchener IKEA store She helped us plan a beautiful kitchen and several closet organizers She made the process super seamless, even helping us find several items that are being discontinued to make sure we could bring our vision to life She was quick to answer any questions via email and everything was delivered on time and just as expected Would not hesitate to suggest anyone reach out to her for all their house planning needs! Update: April 2023 - we got our new kitchen installed. Installers were very efficient and professional. We love our kitchen. The negative is billing. Trying to get it rectified has so far been day 5. We updated our design a few times, but the agreed to design and installation did not make it to the billing department. It’s black and while, so it should of been corrected right away. The billing dept is in Quebec, so this is not directly kitchener… but is all apart of the experience. I paid my 50% to secure the installation date. The job got done and without seeing a final invoice first, billing helped themselves and overcharged me $659, when it should of been the other 50%. There was no changes in the agreed to final plan. Ikea likes to send and order extra supplies you don’t need (paid by you) and even though you return what is not used, you will get charged for each piece being installed. Thankfully my husband did the planning and knew every piece needed, and had it all corrected on our final plan. Be aware of this, and check your final charge on your credit card because there was no warning. I am told it will get corrected. If it doesn’t I will provide another update. Also do not buy an over the stove ikea microwave. Ours did not work. We paid to have it installed at $120, and this is not included of the $659 overcharge. We had to dis-install it and haul back for a refund. They are not that light. We did get a refund, but not on the install. We went to best buy and got a whirlpool. Design planning: Jo was great in helping us plan our new kitchen. Very professional and gave us all the time we needed. No pressure. The installers will be coming in a few weeks.
