The ambiance was cool, and the food great. I went for assorted meat Okro soap and pounded yam, while my friend went for seafood okro soup and pounded yam. And they're so big with the tax implementation, so be sure of paying 12% tax for the total of every meal you buy. If the total of your meal is like 80k, be sure of paying an extra 12% of that total
Came here for lunch with my sister. The experience at Ile Iyan was kinda mixed. For the good stuff... Our waitress Akanke was very attentive and professional. We were greeted in some fancy Yoruba way, I got to play AYO, and the food when it was eventually served was ok. And the BAD.... Looong wait... Do not attempt to go there hungry or you will get HANGRY. We waited for over 50mins before the pounded yam came out🤔😒
I had some real pounded yam with delicious efo riro. The meat was well seasoned, not too much, just perfectly. I also played ayo with my friend while waiting for the food. Their prices are friendly. I'd always thought it was huge amount, but it's not.
