I had taken my camperized bus into a mechanic in Hope to test my 2 x 12v batteries (part of a solar system to power a water pump, fridge, lights, diesel heater and backup camera). Without consulting me, they removed the batteries from under the seat to charge them up and when they collapsed in on themselves, called to tell me they were dead - as was the solar panel - and did I want them to replace them. No, I didn't - I wanted a more professional electrician to take a look. Lucky for me, I found Nathan. He was in the area and came to check out the situation. Even though the mechanics hadn't taken any photos of how the batteries were set up before they removed them, Nathan was confident he would be able to install two new ones properly. He was also confident that the issue with the solar wasn't the panel, but two loose wires in the controller box! I purchased the exact same batteries at Canadian Tire and within 2.5 hours Nathan had them installed (he would have been faster if it weren't for the extra labour to remove and re-install two passenger seats in order to get access to the battery cables.). And a quick fix of the loose wires on the controller panel got everything back up and working perfectly!! My only complaint was a misunderstanding that his "estimate" would be adjusted to actual hours worked. I didn't realize that it was the final quote for the work, whether it would take 2 hours or 6 hours. Still, I am a very satisfied customer with Nathan's professional work. Highly recommend him.
