If you're a business owner, entrepreneur, or looking to meet great people to expand your professional network, Open in Indiana is a great place to both start and remain. I actually met Ryan, the Idea Guy and co-founder, at a Rotary meeting in Indianapolis when I was still very new to networking. He was so kind and welcoming to me and genuinely cared about doing what he could to help my company and connect me to people. It wasn't long after that that I started seeing him, or hearing his name and Open in Indiana tossed around at other networking groups I was attending. We'd run into each other, and each time, it seemed like Open in Indiana was getting bigger and bigger with more features and benefits that made me want to get involved. And as an entrepreneur just getting started, I know that such growth and popularity in networking circles can only be achieved through passion and dedication to their mission. A couple months ago, Ryan interviewed me and featured my two small businesses in his podcast in the episode he cleverly titled "Drumming up Memories." I was so thankful for the opportunity and the exposure it gave my companies. After it was posted, I had lots of new likes on both of my business pages and more views on my website! I would highly recommend Open in Indiana. It's a smart use of your time to attend the events (which are free!) and get to know the couple behind it all, and it's a good use of your money to help them help you and your business through their membership.
