I chose to work with Intelligent Controls because of their professionalism and expertise in the off-grid solar sector. I worked with Mike King directly who has been a great partner in designing and learning about my system. Their system design and support made it possible for me as a total newbie to be able to install the entire system myself! I went with a 24V system primarily to minimize number of batteries needed for my Thor Compass AWD motorhome system. I paired 400Ah of Pylontech UP2500 rack type batteries with Victron Quattro 24V/5000W Inverter Charger to ensure the ability to run air conditioner and any other appliances at the same time while traveling. We have 1000 watts of bifacial solar on the roof with gas springs to deploy the panels year round and maximize solar production. We also added a second solar charge controller for a ground deployable array when things get toasty in the summertime. The system fit perfectly into easily modifiable sections of our rig and has run as expected since installation. The value of working with Intelligent Controls comes from the expert level support provided with doing business with them. I personally preferred the Pylontech batteries for their native ability to work with everything Victron which ensures maximum life expectancy for these batteries while operating safely in an off-grid motorhome application.

Traveling in our RV, we found ourselves without power when our Victron inverter died, in Dillon MT. Intelligence Controls was the closest dealer, and they were very accommodating and communicative, helping us confirm stock early on a Monday morning so we could start the 5 hour round trip drive. I bought a RUUVI Tag Pro 2in1 from Intelligent Controls to get an accurate temperature reading in my sauna. It takes a little longer to warm up and register than my other thermometer but I really trust the accuracy once it's there. And, as it turns out, my "pretty" thermometer is fully accurate enough for my purposes. So, now I'm going to use the RUUVI to get an accurate reading during my cold water swims as it's fully waterproof. I was hesitant about its use in the sauna, but all my questions were fully answered and I had a lovely chat with Laura in Montana. Thank you! Glad I bought this from you.

Laura and Aaron are a pleasure to work with. I saw Laura's YouTube video on the Ruuvi temperature sensors and how they could be integrated into a Victron Cerbo system. I felt they were the perfect fit for my Travel Trailer system. I have a full Victron setup (see pic), and a WiFiRanger networking all the Victron gear, as well as a smart thermostat. I got three Ruuvis from Laura- one for the cabin temp, one for the fridge, and one for the freezer. It's really nice to be able to remotely monitor temps - especially when it's hot out and the fridge struggles. The Ruuvis are a lot easier to deal with than the Victron sensors. Luckily for me, IC is only 20 min from my house, so I went to their shop to pick them up. Got a chance to chat with Aaron. There's not much he doesn't know about solar and storage solutions. I can highly recommend IC - knowledgeable and fun to work with.
