Worst experience ever. On 23 December I visit a dentist Dr Minette Lombard to take out my left side back below teeth. She injected me not with a lot of patience, nevertheless, when my mouth felt dead, she started working to remove the teeth. On several occasions I indicated to her that the front part of the roots was not dead, however, she continued working and did not stop for another injection. Her tools kept falling out of her hand on the ground, but she picked it up and continued. I started crying and the assistant only gave me a tissue to dry my eyes. At the end of the day, I could barely open my teeth/mouth to allow her to put in stitches. Since then, my face was swollen, I could not open my mouth to eat, and the pain was awful. I made another appointment on the 31 December with her, however that morning the receptionist only called to indicate that she would not be in because she felt sick. I requested to see another dentist, and they referred me to Dr Gerhard Brummer. He was not very patient, however, he requested his assistant to take an x-ray of my face, which she did, with a very bad attitude. He indicated to me that he couldn't assist, however, he referred me to a general practitioner Dr A. Mogano to assist me with a pain and antibiotics drip. This doctor assisted me and was very helpful and friendly. He also indicated to me to return to Dr Lombard to investigate the situation. I refused. I made another appointment with Dr M Lichtenstein at Mimosa on 14 January 2025. Still, my mouth/ teeth could not open and my face was still heavily swollen. She immediately refers me to a specialist Dr B Van Niekerk. On 15 January 2025, he took an x-ray and immediately picked up that not all the roots were removed and the wound was heavily infected. He indicated that I needed some surgery to clean the wound and to take out the roots, which he did on 24 January 2025. Due to Dr. Lombard's negligence, I suffered a lot of pain, could not eat for more than a month, and incurred a lot of unforeseen and unnecessary costs. Not one of these dentists at Intercare Wonderboom will ever see me again.

Should have checked the reviews before going to this place. It's hard to find a medical practitioner that truly cares these days, and Intercare is no exception. Visited Dr. Brommer and I could tell that he and his staff honestly don't care. The check up took about 10 seconds followed by a x-ray in which wasn't even explained to me. The whole thing was just rushed. They didn't even bother closing the door, which made me feel like my privacy and confidentiality was violated. He didn't even bother to highlight any other issues I could have possibly had, which I was expecting given the cost of the consultation. Overall, a mediocre experience. PLEASE, save your time and money and go elsewhere!

Most unprofessional service I've had from a receptionist. Saw Dr L Potgieter on 23rd December, went for sonar on 24th December, Dr phoned me only on the 27th with results. Phone again on the 30th, has tremendous pain, at the 2nd of January, yet no phone call. Absolotely pathetic.

Extremely unsatisfied with the accounts department of Dr brummer, you make an appointment to see him... After then speaking to the lady at the front desk explaining you can't make your appointment please cancel it... She agrees to cancel it but proceeds to send you R1000 invoice for not showing up for the appointment, i understand time is valuable... But charging people because the where not able to make the appointment is ridiculous... unless its stated clearly before you make a second appointment... I just feel its unethical and a way to hoax people out of more money! Very sad to say that i will never use these facilities again and encourage all family anf friends not to deal with them...!
