I have had a lot of experience with profiteroles, but Isfahan’s are truly the best—fresh, delicious, and filled with an excellent, creamy filling.They offer a variety of profiterole flavors, and I tried them all. I think the owner is a genius in his own way when it comes to attracting business and marketing the store. I ordered two cakes from them. The cakes in the shop are very affordable, but if you want to order a custom cake—even if it’s the same one you see in the shop—the minimum size is 1kg, and customizations (like adding a flavor to the sponge or writing “Happy Birthday”) increase the price by about 30%. However, still much cheaper than other cake places. I got a chocolate cake with Nutella, which was okay, nothing special. The other cake was vanilla with strawberries, and that one was really good! I was impressed with it.

Hani RamezaniCertainly, it may not be the best pastry shop in Muscat, but it’s the only place where you can find cakes with beautiful and unique designs at a relatively reasonable price. The taste of the cakes varies—sometimes they’re excellent, sometimes just average. However, what stands out most about this store is the price of their flower bouquets; nowhere else in Muscat can you get such lovely bouquets for just 4 rials.
