ISM Construction

In the fall of 2021, my husband and I found our dream building lot for our forever home and began searching for a builder for our custom home. On the recommendation of our daughter, we had a very successful first meeting with the team at ISM Construction. While our intention at that time was to have our build done during 2022, life circumstances changed and construction of our home had to be postponed. ISM was patient, gracious, engaged and willing to work with us until we could move forward. In early spring of 2024, we were ready to begin and after the first design meeting with the ISM team, we felt no need to seek out anyone else. Everyone we met with, from the builder himself, including the design team, project manager, and various consultants along the way, were professional, courteous, timely, and did everything they could to make our vision a reality. If something wouldn’t work, they explained why and suggested myriad different ways we could still make our home custom, beautiful, charming and accessible to our needs. As in any major undertaking, delays or slight mistakes are inevitable but when they arose, it was apparent that everyone on the team was willing to do what was necessary to accommodate us. The entire process, from start to finish, was included and that alone was a major selling point for us. The driveway, paving, grass seeding, septic installation, township permits, excavation, tree felling, well, water purification and various other necessary details were not our responsibility. We gladly were willing to leave those important details to the professionals. So in retrospect, if you are just beginning your journey, whether you are building a new home, procuring one of their designs, upgrading an extensive remodel, looking to replace a kitchen, bathroom or family room, you will have chosen very wisely to have ISM construction make your dreams come true! We cannot say enough good things about the experience we continue to have with ISM. Ivan, Josiah, Seth, Nate, and the whole crew are amazing to work with. We purchased property in western Berks County to build our dream homes (two sisters and husbands) and shopped hard to find the right builder which we did with ISM. We knew from this from start, and they validated our decision every step of the way. ISM took our designs and made several thoughtful improvements. Their process from start to finish was incredibly detailed and both projects ran like clockwork. As the few challenges we faced arose they handled each with a calm demeanor and the confident experience of seasoned professionals. The quality of the construction is far superior to other homes we have seen constructed. We moved into our house a month ago now which was five months from breaking ground and right on schedule. The ISM team is still engaged to make sure everything is meeting our expectations. If you are in the market for a building, we highly recommend considering ISM.

We were very happy with the house that ISM built for us. They were extremely helpful with suggestions throughout the selections meetings, very responsive throughout the build. I would recommend ISM to anyone looking for a remodel or new construction.
