Very dissappointed in my overall experience with Gurian. I was with this firm for over 2 years. I realized about a year ago they were incorrrectly coding expenses etc. During my 2022 filing I had to go back and review several missed or miscoded expenses. Apparently they have inexperienced admins doing the bookkeeping. I have a very busy business which is why I hired a CPA firm. I had apparently put to much trust in them to do things correctly. My fault for not paying closer attention to the details and all the mistakes throughout the year. However, I felt if I was paying professionals they would look out for my business. I noticed the same discrepancies during my 2023 tax filings to the point I had to cancel all services and refuse to move forward with their tax preparation service. The tax filing was grossly incorrect. Many large expenses were missed causing my tax estimate to be extremely high. When I brought this to Justin's attention he tried to explain away many of the discrepancies. I knew then they were unwilling to correct the mistakes. They had also removed my access to MY INFO and refused to reinstate after I had brought all the errors to their attention. I'm not sure what they are planning to do with my records- my guess is to destroy them. I have never heard of a company refusing a client acces to I can also assume I wasn't an important enough client to make sure my business was a priority. Small Businesses BEWARE!!!
