This place is in a really nice area, was able to take a lil stroll while waiting for my food. The guy at the window was nice. The wait time for our food wasn’t long at all. We ordered the Sandwich and a side of fries. The fries can be shared amongst two person. The heat level was between plain & mild, I forgot what he called it. The sandwich was so delicious and the fries were so crispy and well done. I was in a food coma because it was all so sons good. On the other hand,I wish they would have more tables. I wanted to eat at the location but seating was very limited. You should definitely check them out! We will be back soon.

My wife and I stopped in to give JAM Hot Chicken a try. They have one level of no heat and five levels of heat for their chicken (i.e., Level 0-Level 5) and posted very clearly on the left side of the same menu board of the various chicken items available. My wife doesn’t enjoy heat spice, so she chose Level 0 for her entree of the Mac Bowl with chopped chicken on top. I, however, do prefer some heat, but I wanted to get a baseline for their hot sauce heat. I chose to get the five tender basket with Level 1 sauce and I liken the flavorful heat to full-strength Nashville Hot. It was *Delicious*! The chicken was tender, juicy, and delicious with just the right amount of (almost) immediate heat. I doubt I will chance a venture into Levels 2-5, as Level one is the perfect level of deliciously flavorful bold heat and spice for me (no sneaky or slow-building heat). I love this place!

Alright, I’ll admit it — I was skeptical walking into JAM HOT CHICKEN. Dave’s has had the hot chicken game in a chokehold for a minute, so I wasn’t expecting much. But man… I was wrong. The chicken sandwich slapped. Perfectly crispy, juicy, spicy in the best way — and the fries? Hot, crispy, and seasoned like they actually cared. You can taste the difference. Honestly, I think JAM HOT might have Dave’s beat. Didn’t think I’d say that, but here we are. They need to open a few spots in Miami ASAP — the city would eat this up.

JAM Hot Chicken is definitely worth visiting but the price is arguably not justifiable. We got 2 sandos, 1 order of hot fries, and a seasonal Watermelon slushie for a total of around $52 (including tip). The sandwiches appear to be very large, however a good portion of the chicken breast is quite thin. The flavor of the sandwich was good, but not great. Additionally, the portion of fries was huge and would be way too much for one person to eat alone. Perhaps offering a smaller order for a lower cost would be more appealing to customers. I could see myself visiting again but overall, I don’t believe the price reflects the quality of the food.
