Customer experiences
We were greeted, seated, and ordered promptly. The place as a very hip vibe with amazing decor - everywhere you look, there is something unique to see! The cool thing is that both retail and restaurant are somewhat combined. There was locally made jewelry and all sorts of treasures to look at. When my meal was placed in front of me, i thought i heard the angels sing. The plating was gorgeous! I wanted to love my meal, but unfortunately, it was a miss for my palate. The quiche was a massive serving (it was double the normal height) - probably half that sized slice would be adequate. Unfortunately, I thought it lacked flavor/seasoning. The salad, while hugely appealing-looking, had an off-putting dressing with VERY strong curry flavor. Not spicy, but overwhelmingly curry. The bright spot was the tea biscuit - it was probably one of the best that I have ever had. I would absolutely come here again, as the menu has a large variety, and there are many other dishes that sounded appetizing.
It's kind of one of the best places to eat in Grande Prairie. I have gone multiple times and never been disappointed. Looking at their menu prices you may think some seem steep but the portion sizes are quite generous! It gets busy (and loud unfortunately) so you may need a reservation!
Came here for breakfast while taking a break from work. I ordered the breakfast sandwich on a biscuit with egg, bacon, cheddar, and a side of potato with hollandaise on the side. Simply wonderful, delicious and hearty. My green tea was a little too sweet for my taste, lesson learned, I’ll ask for it less sweet next time. My coworker ordered the quiche and that was equally delicious, would have liked to see the crust be a little more crispy but it was delicious all the same. Our server Hannah was an absolute delight, attentive and overall lovely. Will absolutely be back here to eat.
Jeffery’s came somewhat recommended, and it looked super sharp as we drove by—right near our hotel, so we walked over. Bright, airy, and lovely to look at. There’s a coffee shop and a little shop of gifts-knick knacks also tucked inside too. Service was attentive, and there were tons of food options, plus lots of great specials. We got an app, two mains, and a bottle of wine—all incredibly reasonable for two adults on a working trip. Would definitely come back. The food was good—not mind-blowing, but solid. The appetizer was the standout, but I have to give a shoutout to the chicken sandwich (recommended by our server). It was like they gave me a double order of chicken—unbelievable and so well done.
