We got an Acorn stair lift and the price was better than another company's price. We like the salesman Andrew and his presentation. From the time we decided to go with them, their insulation date was quick. Les, the installer was great - clean, professional and quick. He showed me how to use it and what to expect from it, and left me a manual about the use of it.

Installation and instruction on how to use was great. We've had issues and have requested a technician and they've canceled and rescheduled 2 weeks in a row, after I've had to reschedule my days to accommodate their availability. This is very frustrating. I'm worried one of my parents will be stuck on the stairs at some point, and what can I do then? Update: October 2nd. Today they didn't show at all, or even call to let us know. They did show up on Monday when we weren't scheduled and no one was home. I called on Monday afternoon ask if today was still on and was assured it was. I'm sorry, but your customer service is terrible! Now they can't schedule us in for 2 more weeks! When it was installed I would have gladly recommended you to my friends, but now would advise them to find a company that does a better job at backing up their product.

Warren installed our unit. He did a great job and nothing was left to be cleaned up afterward. He explained every operation to us in easily understood terms. The chair lift works as expected. The 2 remotes were included and I was able to purchase 2 peel and stick removable hooks for about $4.00. Personally I think it is a little cheap that the holders weren't part of the package. That would be my only complaint.

Excellent service! We ordered it on Tuesday and it was installed on Thursday. We did have a few issues at first, and the technician who came was really good and adjusted the volume so that my husband who is profoundly deaf can now hear the beeps which alert that the lift is properly on the charge points. The installation was fast and without any mess. Made in the UK, which makes me happy at present not to be purchasing items made in the USA! We are very happy with our stairlift and we will be certain to recommend ACORN to all of our friends and neighbours who are aging just like ourselves!
