I had a deeply disappointing experience with DeSelms Property Management, who I was referred to by my realtor. During my initial call, while exploring options for managing properties I was purchasing, I was promised detailed information via email that never arrived. When I followed up, I was assured a callback within a few days, but that never happened either. This lack of follow through and poor communication before even signing a contract raises serious concerns about their professionalism and reliability. If this is how they treat potential clients, I can only imagine the subpar service one would receive after committing. I would not recommend this company to anyone seeking dependable property management.

DO NOT RENT HERE! I am a current tenant, and i’ve had nothing shy of a horrible experience living here. I’ve had 3 ceiling leaks, 2 have been ongoing for 3 weeks and technicians will not be coming out for another 3 weeks. We’ve had ant problems, heating problems in the winter, electrical issues, water heater issues, you name it. I’ve tried to get in contact with the management office, and no one will get back to me. So hopefully this works. Again, don’t rent with this company.

Overpriced, unfriendly. Not easy to deal with. Went to a different property management company immediately had lower fees , better customer service and way less hoops to go through for a rental house

Jim was fantastic to work with. He was extremely quick in his responses, sent us new listings as soon as he received them, and never made us feel under pressure to put an offer down until we were comfortable. We looked at many houses to figure out exactly what we wanted and he never seemed exhausted by the number of showings...he was very positive and gladly showed us whichever home we wanted to see. Jim has lived in the area for quite some time so he has a great network and is backed by a family oriented, yet powerful company. I would highly recommend using Him and DeSelms Real Estate.
