Karuna Coffee House - Karuna Action

I arrived at the cafe on a rainy May afternoon in Aldershot. The shop was empty apart from two gentlemen having a chat in the corner. As soon as I entered the shop, the men finished their conversation and asked what I'd like to order. I checked the menu online before coming, and decided on the club sandwich. Unfortunately when I got to the cafe, I was told it was out of stock 😕. They offered me a few different alternatives and eventually I decided on the BLT at a cost of £4.00. The sandwich arrived quickly within about 5-7 minutes of ordering, inside a white paper bag. The sandwich was very delicious. Served on thick slices of white bread. As I was waiting, I could hear and smell the bacon sizzling. It's nice to know it was freshly cooked and hot. I personally would have preferred slightly less mayonnaise. But the sandwich was still very tasty nonetheless. The shop looked like it had some seating area and toilet, but these were closed to the public. Which is understandable considering current COVID-19 restrictions. I must also mention that this cafe accepts cash or credit cards, no problem 👍 5/5 - Food taste/quality - Delicious sandwich! 5/5 - Value for money - £4.00 for a freshly cooked sandwich is a very reasonable price. 5/5 - Customer service - Attended to me immediately without delay. 4/5 - Menu - it was a shame some items were out of stock, but understandable to have limited menu during Covid. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Overall I can give Astalet cafe 5 stars. I will definitely be visiting again when passing the area, and look forward to trying other items on the menu.

Little gem. Sumptuous customised breakfast with healthy portion sizes, great Italian coffee. Fab service and courteous staff. Toilets available. Highly recommended.

Meat quality was poor (enough for me to not eat it and I'm not usually fussy about bacon and sausages!) but other than that, it was ok. Coffee was good. Covid safety measures were also very poor... I won't be returning in a hurry
