I asked for just a trim off the top and a fade on the sides, and I absolutely love how it turned out! The barber really listened to what I wanted and gave me a clean, sharp look without taking too much off. The fade is super smooth and blends perfectly. He did add a fringe in the front, which I’m not really a fan of with my hair type, but overall the cut still looks great. I walked out feeling fresh and confident. Definitely coming back for my next cut!

I had a mix up with my appointment, accidentally scheduled for the wrong day and I was kind of confused. They let me know and so I double checked and yeah woops it was scheduled for Saturday, my bad but that’s not why I’m leaving two stars, at all. I was going to try and reschedule it with them but while I was figuring it out with the staff members at the counter one of them just walked off and didn’t reappear, the other one just started talking to another customer. I don’t think it was intentional malice but just a case of poor customer service skills. They seemed a little all over the place and off in their own world so rather than get my haircut rescheduled I just cancelled my appointment for the wrong day and walked out. They were focused on that conversation so they didn’t hear me mentioning it was all good, I’d just cancel and thanks anyway. Shout out to the staff member than ran out to try and see if they could squeeze me in, that was really sweet of them. I would have taken up his offer but the customer service up to that point was so stilted and bad and I felt a little overlooked so I wanted to leave so I just made up a lie and said thanks anyway. The KD at the other end of Collins St has way better service so if it’s not too out of the way, I highly recommend their other location instead of this one. Sorry, I feel kind of mean posting this! But honestly, it felt like just my presence alonewas such a hassle to the person checking my appointment over what was just a mistake on my part, that I was happy to resolve with them if they had been more attentive.

I always receive great service at Kings Domain Rialto from all the staff. YZ is the 선생님 and has been my barber for a few years now. One can know how well hair is cut by the way it grows back, and I daresay YZ can do this with eyes closed. I recently also had Jason cut my hair - they are truly masters of their craft. Thanks team!
