Mark assisted us in choosing a set of steak knives. He was kindly attentive and expertly informed. Despite our indecisive questions about the options, he subtly reassured us by simplifying the differentiations which in turn obliquely nudged us into the right selection. After he pierced through the clutter of information, he made it easy for us. We are thrilled with our purchase.

I stopped by today to purchase a stainless steel pan after many fail attempts to purchase a nice one. Charles was excellent. He provided me with an explanation of all the sets and explained to me how to properly heat it up, clean it up and even explained to me to hold each of them to make sure it was not to heavy for my wrist. I suffer from chronic wrist pain. He gave me time to look at all the sets and checked up on me to ensure I did not have any follow on questions. I explained to him that I was concerned about the weight of the box since I was walking to the ferry. He explained to me that my items could be shipped for a small fee. Overall it was an amazing experience and I was so thankful to all the staff especially Charles for taking the time to make me feel comfortable with my purchase. I look forward to cooking with my new set. No photo of my purchase as it will be delivered in a few days.

We had a superb experience with Mark on a Sunday morning trip for knives (and other things). Mark was patient and kind and helped us into some great Japanese knives. And served us a darn good espresso. Will return.
