Klausing Group

We were staying at the Kentucky Horse Park Campground, which they mow. It was clearly obvious that we were packing up to leave. Our truck doors were open as well as the hatches on our camper. Not once, but twice their employee mowed right up next to us with the discharge pointed towards us. We are covered as well as our camper. We have grass in our hatches and truck. I would think for safety purposes that a professional would know that you don’t mow with the discharge toward people.

I believe they do not sterilize their mulch. Last spring/summer, the fresh mulch looked great in the pachysandra beds. This spring, year, the pachysandra are overrun with Crown Vetch. (Crown Vetch is an aggressive ground cover developed by Penn State for the Department of Transportation.) When they came to service the yard (mowing, watering, fertilization, etc. . . ) they never left a note on the door explaining what service they provided that day, nor any instructions as to what I should do to maintain the lawn/landscapinng between services. They also planted pachysandra in a clay bed, where it could not take root and thrive. The bed should have been prepared and amended before planting.
