I’ve been shopping at Lulu Express Al Raha Mall almost every day for the past 15 years, but my recent experience was extremely disappointing. I bought a Lulu-brand canned coconut milk that turned out to be spoiled or contaminated, and when I came back the next day to report about my experience, the supervisor questioned why I didn’t bring it back the same day. His approach was very proud and defensive, refusing to accept any responsibility for the product’s quality issue. When I told him that his approach wasn’t helping and that I might need to speak to a manager, he told me I could even report to the police or baladiya, which was completely unnecessary and unhelpful. It wasn’t about the money — it was about the safety concern. I expected much better customer service after being a loyal customer for so many years.

Lulu Express is our go-to for groceries! It’s convenient, affordable, and always well-stocked. I especially love that they carry a variety of South African products. The meat and vegetables are always fresh, making shopping here a great experience. Highly recommend!
