Working with Kate from Knees Up Events was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the very beginning of the planning process to the final moments of our big day, she went above and beyond in every possible way. Kate truly brought our vision to life – she handled every detail with care, set up all of our décor the morning of the wedding, and made sure everything was absolutely perfect so that I could relax and fully enjoy the day. She came fully prepared (her emergency kit was a lifesaver!) and offered so much helpful advice and thoughtful suggestions throughout the planning process. Her enthusiasm, professionalism, and calming presence made all the difference. She was not only incredibly organized and efficient but also warm, reassuring, and an absolute joy to work with. If you're looking for a top-notch event planner who will make your dreams a reality and keep you happy and stress-free every step of the way, I cannot recommend Kate enough. She’s amazing!

My husband and I used Kate for our small backyard style wedding and it was the best decision we ever made in regards to our wedding! We had a tiny budget but we also were planning everything ourselves and it was at a family friends farm so there were so many moving components. I had managed to get a lot planned but was feeling overwhelmed and worried about the day going smoothly. From the first call Kate set us at ease. We wanted our wedding to stay unique to us and we had such a small budget that we were worried about being judged for even inquiring about planning or coordinating, and thought someone might try to change our minds on things or just take over. We also felt like we had most of the details figured out so we weren't quite sure what we were actually looking for.. but we knew needed help. Kate was friendly and upbeat without it feeling like she was just trying to win us over. We just connected so easily with her and didn't feel judged at all. She saw our vision and figured out our needs and made it feel easy. We settled on her being a day of coordinator, but leading up to the wedding when we were in a bind finding one of our vendors she also helped us nail that down too. She went above and beyond and was there for every random text I sent her way without making me feel like to much. She grounded me! When it came to the rehearsal dinner and the day of SHE ROCKED. She helped time when our bridal party would walk down the aisle and pressed play on our music (which is definitely beyond her job description), she laid our cookies out out on tables for us before the reception started, she brought our cake and desserts out when it was time for them to be put out, she let people know what activities were available and when they could eat , communicated between the caterer and us etc etc. All the little moving parts fell into place because of her and we had quite a few guests mention their pleasant experience with her. I was worried she wouldn't have enough things to do because it was a small wedding but when the wedding day hit I was SO glad we worked with her because I know there was a million little things she thought of or handled that we didn't have to think or stress about then. Kate is amazing at what she does and is the only reason we could truly enjoy our wedding day. And she did all of that for us while feeling more like a friend than a vendor. I couldn't recommend anymore more than her!
