We stayed for a few nights and found the hotel was warm and welcoming. The staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival. Our room was lovely. With rose petals on the bed in the shape of a heart. Which made us smile and was a very romantic touch. We had a corner room with great views of the gardens and tennis courts, which seem ton have been long forgotten. The breakfast was lovely and gave a good choice of breakfast options. We made use of the spa while we visited. The spa has seen better days as it’s tired and is soon undergoing a major renovation. The spa and gym seem to be vey well used by its member. The staff were very helpful and made our visit lovely. |I would over all recommend this as a place to stay. However the vibe was calm and chilled.

Had our daughters wedding here. Rooms were spacious and very clean. The staff were so helpful. The food for the wedding and all through the weekend was wonderful. The wedding venue and the reception venue was beautifully laid out and decorated. Would 100% recommend this hotel for a weekend stay or full on wedding venue. Thank you Knights Hill.

This is our third New Years Eve dinner dance in a row. This year our party of 12 decided to stay over. Was once again a fantastic evening. Rooms were all lovely and clean, with everything you need. Free Wi-Fi, tea/coffee station, comfortable beds, much needed bottles of water! |Easy check in.. started with some drinks in the adjacent pub, The Farmers. Lovely service and atmosphere with a large range of lagers and ales! The Neck Oil was a hit in our party. |We then arrived at the dinner dance to an arrival glass of Prosecco, followed by a delicious 3 course dinner. We then danced into the new year with the party starters DJ. Breakfast was a good choice of continental and cooked breakfast buffet style. Everything was cooked to perfection and was piping hot, even though we didn’t come down until 10am. All in all, definitely worthy of a 5 star review. Thank you Knights Hill Hotel !

Reception was quick, the hotel building was spacious and warm. Our room was spacious, warm and very clean with plenty of drawers and hanging space.The usual T.V and tea and coffee with biscuits. The bathroom was very modern and clean. Lovely towels and a good shower over the bath. Evening meals very good ,served by youngsters (looked lost at times) but they did a good job. The food was excellent,notably the sea bass, top marks there.Buffet style breakfast also good except the scrambled egg, very cold and watery. Bar was ok but pricey, will use the pub next door on or next visit
