This was one of the best nail experiences I’ve ever had, full stop. I’ve tried a lot of salons in Vancouver over the years, and L’atelier truly stands out in terms of quality, attention to detail, and overall vibe. The space is bright, beautiful, and spotless. Everything feels calm, elevated, and thoughtfully designed. You can tell they care about your comfort as much as your nails! I booked a hard gel fill with full cuticle care and custom nail art, and Jenny (my tech) was an absolute angel!!!! I showed her a reference photo that involved picking six different colours, and she matched them instantly, it was like magic!!!!! She was so precise, kind, and really listened to what I wanted. I’d also previously had issues with burning under the curing light at other places, and she adjusted everything without me even needing to explain much. No burning at all!!!!! Just smooth, gentle care. It was a bit pricier than a basic fill, but honestly? Completely worth it. The time, effort, skill, and products they use really show. My nails turned out perfect, and the final touch with Chanel lotion at the end was such a lovely detail. If you're looking for a place that takes nail care seriously and makes you feel truly pampered, this is it! Thank you for such a lovely experience!!

I had a manicure & pedicure done at L’ atelier Beauty & Spa today that was a great experience. The ladies who worked on my hands & feet were very nice & professional; the atmosphere was relaxing & not rushed. Now my nails look fantastic & my skin feels rejuvenated. I highly recommend this place!

Updating my comment-really appreciate the management for reaching out after my previous review. They handled my concern very professionally and even offered me a complimentary gel nail manicure to make things right. It shows they genuinely care about customer satisfaction. Thank you for the great service and for taking responsibility — that really means a lot! Old comment- Since I moved to downtown earlier this year, I’ve been coming to this place because it’s close to my apartment. Most of the time, I’ve received great service, and that’s why I kept returning. However, I’ve noticed that some of the staff seem less experienced, and the quality can be inconsistent. One common issue I’ve faced is that customers are often asked to leave before their nails are completely dry. This has happened to me several times — once so badly that I had to return and get my nails redone. Unfortunately, it happened again today, and with my busy schedule, I don’t have time to go back and fix it. I hope management can supervise or monitor the work more closely to ensure consistent service quality. Sadly, I think it’s time for me to look for a new place
