Customer experiences
Freezer burnt ice cream - came with high hopes as the ice creams we had in Streetsville and Montreal were out of the world - unfortunately not the case at this store. P.S: I would also like to mention that I’ve never been to a desert place where they do not allow tasting ice cream before ordering. This location doesn’t.
Caution! DO NOT order online for pickup. Not fresh, not ready for pickup, and more $. If I had wanted over priced frosty old freezer ice cream, I would have gone to the gas station store. I had looked at their website before setting out to see how they were handling orders in light of covid restrictions. It shows online ordering available with Skip, Uber, Dash, and their own site. This location seems to use Uber. Would not recommend! Order complete time is not accurate and neither is the icecream received. Uber Pickup "softserve" bowl is old frozen icey filled ice cream compressed hard into a bowl. Had to take home the rock solid icecream to thaw out for a while, but toppings remained rock hard while icecream liquified. I can see how this may be a way to serve up delivery icecream, but should not be shown as a fresh peak of softserve covered in toppings if that's not what your serving. Also, not sure why option of icecream flavour (vanilla or chocolate) is given if it's not followed. Completely didn't meet expectations from picture or $$. Very hesitant to try it again. Will certainly NOT order online again. Orders are being taken in person, so just save yourself the disappointment and go that route.
The dipped ice cream tastes good. That's the most important part, and they get that right. It's a shared location with a Mr. Sub so it doesn't feel like a dessert space. The cone was really messy and the dip is all over the cone as well - grab napkins! I enjoyed my dipped cup with maple pieces.
The cake was exceptionally well-made — moist, flavorful, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. The texture and presentation reflected great attention to detail. Truly a delightful dessert."
